Dining Table – Traditional Hayrake

I built this traditional hayrake style dining table from a single white oak log the old fashioned way.  The wide top is a book matched set of two slabs with breadboard ends for stability.  All the joinery on the base structure is thru mortise and tenon construction.  The benches were made specifically for this table and also feature book matched tops.  A ton of hand tool work but very fun and satisfying to build. Enjoy.
